COVID-19 Vaccine Acceptance Among Defense Force Personnel: Correspondence

Dear Editor, we would like to share ideas on the publication “Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome-Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) Vaccine Acceptance Disparity Among Israeli Defense Forces Personnel.” Disparities in SARS-CoV-2 vaccine adherence were found to be associated with several socioeconomic, educational, and military service–related characteristics, according to Shapiro et al. Although some differences were significant, others were minor and of doubtful public health consequence, according to Shapiro et al. By recognizing these distinctions, community leaders, health care providers, and administrators may be able to target specific communities in order to increase SARS-CoV-2 vaccine adoption.
