Ultimately, most of the contributions point towards the need for policy changes: as the conclusion highlights, the collection is essentially a “call to understand the potential of law to counter-balance the impact of personalisation on the social order as a whole” (p. 303). The book is therefore recommended for lawyers and policy-makers, but the more abstract contributions should be read alongside the more practical.
