The main features of innovative technologies as an effective way to develop personal competencies and the formation of value orientations are defined in the context of the study.  Physical education contributes to the development of individual personality traits, as well as forming the health-saving foundations of the development of society in the perspective of evolution. Postmodern trends in the formation of society are defined by new worldview manifestations, when people lose meaning in certain value aspects and realize that past achievements can be neutralized. The physical education of a person forms the idea of the value of health, both in the past and in the future. It is this principle that defined the research problem. \nIt is determined that innovative technology is a sign of a postmodern society, because innovation is one of the characteristic features of the postmodern. Innovative technologies are most effective both in educational activities and in physical education. The theoretical and methodological foundations of the concept of postmodern society and innovative technologies were analyzed in the course of the study. Also identified the main aspects of physical education in the context of the modern dimension. The article explores the peculiarities of the use of innovative technologies in the aspect of physical education. \nIn the course of the study we used methods of analysis and synthesis, descriptive method and method of content analysis. 本文强调体育教育背景下的创新技术是后现代社会的主要因素之一。本研究界定了创新技术作为发展个人能力和形成价值取向的有效途径的主要特征。体育有助于个体人格特征的发展,并从进化的角度形成社会发展的健康基础。社会形成中的后现代趋势是由新的世界观表现来定义的,当人们在某些价值方面失去意义,并意识到过去的成就可以被抵消。一个人的体育教育形成了健康价值观,无论是在过去还是在未来。正是这一原则定义了研究问题。创新技术是后现代社会的标志,因为创新是后现代的特征之一。创新技术在教育活动和体育教育中都是最有效的。在研究过程中,分析了后现代社会和创新技术概念的理论和方法基础。还确定了体育教育在现代语境下的主要方面。本文探讨了体育教学中运用创新技术的特点。在研究过程中,我们采用了分析综合法、描述性方法和内容分析法。本研究为确定创新技术作为后现代方法在体育教学过程中的有效性提供了概念基础。
