This will enable the inclusion of measures on secularity in future Brazilian studies. The psychometric properties of the Brazilian version of the scale were verified in a sample of 952 participants. The data obtained show that the scale presented good psychometric functioning indexes and adequate internal consistency indexes for the five-factor, 22-item model. Correlations of the DoS Scale with other constructs were also evaluated to seek evidence of discriminant and convergent validity.
