They now account for about 10% to 30% of all cerebral aneurysms; dumbbell aneurysm remain extremely rare as reported in the literature. These aneurysms are technically difficult to approach, hence multidisciplinary teams require overcoming the challenge. Multiple aneurysms require special care in both diagnosis and surgical management. Dumbbell aneurysms often need individualized techniques for both.
