In regions where the shortage of rainfall remains constant, this problem becomes even more serious. The town of Aguilas, in the Region of Murcia, has been suffering from a great demand for years now due to the incipient growth of population in the summer season and also to the great water demand required to perform the main economic activity in Aguilas: the agriculture.
