Welcoming Remarks.

I am pleased to welcome you all to the 2nd UNNES International Conference on Research Innovation and Commercialization (UICRIC) 2018. This conference aims to increase the number of research publication and improve the research quality so that the results of the research will be known to the public and can be produced massively as part of the improvement of the people’s life quality and prosperity. The scope of the research in this international conference includes: educational innovation, science and technology, resource and life quality improvement, conservation, and arts, culture and humanity. Participated by delegates from all over Indonesia and some other countries, this conference is a combination of different ideas and experiences. These differences, however, offer priceless learning and sharing opportunities and hopefully, can empower professionals and network among the participants. We hope that you will enjoy the presentation and discussion, and also I expect that the forum could give significant contributions to the issues related educational innovation, science and technology, resource and life quality improvement, conservation, and arts, culture and humanity. Finally, we would like to offer our appreciation to all invited speakers, who have travelled from other countries to share their great ideas in the plenary talks. Thank you for those presenters who submitted their papers. Last but not least, we also would like to thank all presenters, delegates, sponsors, committee members, staffs, and students of Universitas Negeri Semarang for making this conference a success.
