Karl Mannheim leitor de Karl Marx: aspectos epistemológicos e políticos da Sociologia do Conhecimento

The objective of this paper is to analyze the determinants of Mannheim's thought, especially those taken from the theory of Marx and converge to the exposure of ideology. The concept of ideology is reviewed by Mannheim as follows in his major works, which will enable the development of Sociology of Knowledge in a debate with modern thought that had been built from the paradigm of consciousness. The Sociology of Knowledge presents in his early epistemological one configuration, providing a new way of understanding social phenomena and, after that, contributes to the political field, holding the path of social planning. Here emerges the guidance of social processes, highlighting the scientific rationality of Sociology of Knowledge as a producer of social techniques.
