Using the method of the conceptual and definitional analysis, we analyze the objective semantic features in the meaning of the lexeme “pension”. The conceptual characteristics, reflected in the ordinary consciousness of young speakers of Russian linguo-culture, are revealed on the basis of free associative experiment data. Free associative experiment was carried out among 99 students (17-25 years old) of the Philological Faculty of the RUDN University. REPRESENTATION OF COGNITIVE FEATURES OF THE CONCEPT PENSION IN THE EXPERIMENTAL APPROACH
