This article aimed to analyze the scientific production on female entrepreneurship in the interconnections with the Information Science area. The research is characterized as exploratory and took place through descriptive analysis carried out after mapping on the bases of LISTA, BRAPCI and SCIELO. There was a prevalence of 84% of empirical studies, with a qualitative approach of 61.5%.
