The concept of human rights was enshrined in several documents, Conventions, and Declarations; in this article, the attention is focused: on the Declaration on Human Rights and Climate Change initiated prior to the 2015 COP 21, on the Children’s Climate Risk Index dell’UNICEF that provides the first comprehensive view of children’s exposure and vulnerability to the impacts of climate change and on the current guidance for governments (General Comment n. 26) of the Committee on the Rights of the Child explaining how children’s rights are related to the environment and climate change, and what governments must do to protect them.
