Application of low temperature plasma ablation in the treatment of ocular surface
Objective
To observe the therapeutic effect of low temperature plasma ablation in the treatment of ocular surface diseases, evaluation of its clinical application value and significance.
Methods
A retrospective analysis from November 2015 to August 2016 in the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University ophthalmology department of 5 cases (6 eyes) of ocular neoplasm patients, including 2 cases of papilloma, 2 cases of conjunctival granulation hyperplasia, 1 cases of conjunctival squamous cell carcinoma, the lesion resection combined with local ablation for the treatment of low temperature plasma. Patients were followed up for 2-11 months to observe the repair of wound surface and the recurrence of new organisms.
Results
Ideal surgical incision and hemostatic effect were achieved in all patients with radiofrequency ablation, all the wounds were repaired well, and there was no recurrence during the follow-up period in 1 cases.
Conclusions
The low-temperature plasma ablation in the treatment of ocular surface biological has good effect, there are broad application prospects in the treatment of ocular diseases.
