This research aimed to determine the impact of the picture book to the storytelling skill of children aged 4-5 years. The research subjects consisted of two kindergartens in Yogyakarta (Pringwulung and Cempaka kindergarten) Indonesia. The participants are 40 children. The data were used quasi-experimental research design. The research data obtained were analyzed with t-test through SPSS 16 program to see the differences between the experimental group and the control group. The result of this research was a significant influence of using picture book on the storytelling skill of preschool children. 摘要

讲故事活动对儿童技能发展的好处是对儿童的语言技能有积极的贡献。本研究旨在确定绘本对4-5岁儿童讲故事能力的影响。研究对象为印度尼西亚日惹的两所幼儿园(Pringwulung和Cempaka幼儿园)。参与者是40名儿童。数据采用准实验研究设计。对获得的研究数据通过SPSS 16程序进行t检验分析,观察实验组与对照组的差异。本研究结果显示绘本使用对学龄前儿童讲故事能力有显著影响。本研究的结果为家长和教师提供了建议,特别是在讨论中发展儿童的沟通技巧和实践者,特别强调了在良好的刺激中增加学龄前儿童讲故事技能的机会的需要。
