The estimates of mean performance on fruit yield per plant revealed that the genotype, Pusa Purple Long had highest fruit yield per plant (2.12 kg/plant) followed by Sabour Sadabahar (1.52 kg/plant), Green Long (1.17 kg/plant) and Black Beauty (1.15 kg/plant). The magnitude of genotypic coefficient of variation was lower than the corresponding phenotypic coefficient of variation for all the characters under test. The high estimation of heritability united with high estimation of genetic advance was recorded for the characters like fruit yield per plant, fruit weight, plant height and fruit length. 摘要

本研究于2021年rabi期间在奥里萨邦百夫长农场、M. S.
