In educational Institutes, noise plays an important factor in the performance of students. The performance of the student in his academics is very important and the impact of noise on performance of student needs to be carefully assessed. In this work, annoyance due to noise has been evaluated. The noise data is recorded at different area of the educational institute. The subjects are chosen from the same educational institute and briefed about the experiment. The recorded sound was used as a source for the evaluation of annoyance. The experiment was performed in a predefined lab for a fixed duration of time. Response of each subject is carefully recorded with the help of the response measurement system. The evaluation of annoyance due to noise is done with the response provided by the subject using a suitable response measurement system i.e. oral indicator and predefined numerical value indicator. The results obtained can be utilized to take necessary actions in order to reduce the impact of noise on the performance of the students.
