Al-Habib B.Sc, Biology, College of science, Baghdad University, Iraq Ph.D, Histology and Embryology, College of Medicine, AL-Nahrain University, Iraq Corresponding author: Maryam Majid Eshaq, Email: merriamallos@gmail.com Abstract Aging of the skin is the most visible and obvious sign of living individual and it is complex phenomenon caused by harmful factors. Intrinsic aging (chronological aging) and extrinsic aging (photoaging) are major factors leading to revers effects on skin. Glycosaminoglycan (GAGs) are long blocks of negatively charged polysaccharides, they are one of the major components of the extracellular matrix. Anti-glycosaminoglycan expression shows a high expression reaction in group (A) with a mean value (0.427 pixel /μ2) the intensity of the reaction are represented in the stratum corneum, basement membrane and highly in the dermal matrix.
