Sensitivity Improvement with Offset Filtering in Optical MSK Narrowband Frequency Discrimination Receiver
We report that offset filtering in optical MSK narrowband frequency discrimination receiver offers significant improvement in receiver sensitivity. Detection of 40 Gb/s optical MSK signals is shown robust to a residual dispersion tolerance of up to plusmn595 ps/nm.
