The flux weighting factor can be removed and the reactive torque control is used in the place of flux control objective in simplified PTC. The two control objectives torque and flux are represented with same units and thus flux weighting factor can be eliminated in the cost function. It results minimum torque and flux ripple and transient current is reduced.
