The instrument in this study was in the form of a TIMSS test for understanding students' mathematical concepts. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The subject in this study were ten students of grade IX SMP Negeri 1 Rawamerta Karawang in the 2021/2022 academic year. Based on the analysis conducted by the researcher, there were three categories of concept understanding abilities, namely the low category with a percentage of 10%, the medium category with a percentage of 70% and the high category with a percentage of 20%. 摘要
