Las políticas culturales locales en democracia y sus fortalezas transformadoras: Propuestas desde los logros de sus primeros cuarenta años

Since 1979, these four recent decades of local democracy have demonstrated the profound and radical transformative power of Local Governments in their constant and daily action as well as their enormous potential to seek territorial, social, cultural and economic development. Local cultural policies have revealed themselves as the direct guarantee of the cultural rights of citizens. In these pages we highlight the features that have characterized these policies and make some proposals to maintain their legitimacy and validity in the future.
