In <sup>58</sup>Ni, recent (p,p′γ) and (α,α′) studies have resulted in J<sup>π</sup>-assignments for 18 of the 27 levels below 4.8 MeV. Moreover, the lifetimes of 19 states in <sup>58</sup>Ni are known, mostly from the Doppler shift attenuation method. The present detailed compilation should serve as a basis for further experiments and theoretical calculations.</p><p>The adopted levels and decay properties are based on data received before July 1969.
