Resumo: as analises e discussoes aqui propostas tem como objeto a relacao entre politica e estetica na obra de Rousseau, a partir da contraposicao de duas diferentes formas de insercao do homem nas sociedades contemporâneas: aquela fundada no ‘amor proprio’ e uma outra inspirada pela expansao da sensibilidade que a musica oferece.
