The effect of microsilica on the nitriding of aluminum ferrosilicon, the phase composition of nitrided products, and the combustion temperature was studied. The composition of the powder mixture necessary for the efficient synthesis of the sialon phase in the combustion mode has been determined. Ill. 5.
