本研究主要探讨词汇跨语言对西班牙语第三语言习得的影响。参与者是美国管理与技术学院的二年级和三年级学生,克罗地亚语为第一语言(L1),英语为第二语言(L2)。本研究探讨了熟练程度与错误产生的关系。结果表明,词汇错误的绝对数量随着语言经验的增加而减少,但在定性方面,某些类型的词汇迁移(如直译)随着熟练程度的增加而增加。结果还表明,语言迁移的类型可能与某些特征或语言成分的形式相似性有关,因此发现英语二语是词汇迁移的主要来源。
