Major component of inorganic contaminates are heavy metals .Phytoremediation is a group of technologies that used by plants to remove, degrade or immobilize environmental toxins. This technology largely focused on the use of plants for accelerating degradation of organic contaminants. But in addition to use of plant for soil remediation, hyper accumulator plants can be used for recycling of metals from soil.
