Influence of Industrial Clusters on Regional Innovation Efficiency: Empirical Study Based on State-level High-tech Development Zones
Although there are plenty of documents dealing with the promotion effects of industrial clusters on innovation,they rarely differentiate the concepts of innovation output and innovation efficiency.Taking state-level hi-tech development zones as an example,we empirically study the influence of industrials on regional innovation efficiency,and find out that industrial clusters reduce innovation efficiency significantly.The reasons are analyzed and corresponding policy suggestions are put forward.
