The Present study was conducted for the extraction, Identification and Invitro anti diabetic activity of Gymnema sylvestre (Asclepiadaceae), extraction were employed to obtain maximum yield. The method where the leaves were extracted under continuous hot extraction in Soxhlet apparatus with 95% ethanol give the maximum yield. The extract were performed qualitative Studies of different chemical constituent of the plant.
