The Journal of Fungal Research was founded in 2003, co-sponsored by Jilin Agricultural University and the Chinese Mycological Society, and edited by Professor Li Yu, an academician of the CAE Member. It mainly publishes original research papers and reviews on the theory and application of fungal biology, fungal classification and resources, fungal ecology, fungal cultivation and genetic breeding, and fungal pharmacology.
