Amylin changes the ratio of trygydroxy- and dygydroxycholates in secreted bile leading to an increase in the coefficient of hydroxylation. These results suggest that amylin enhances the processes of conjugation and hydroxylation of bile acids in hepatocytes that results in improvement of detergent properties of the bile, particularly, the ability of the bile to maintain the cholesterol in dissolved state. 摘要
