For the first time, the norms of the Criminal Code are evaluated from the point of view of finding the features of legal regulation due to the gender and family differences of subjects in it. The analysis of criminal legislation concerning crimes against women helped not only to see the real content of criminal law norms, but also to analyze gaps in the law, and where legal regulation is insufficiently socially conditioned. The study of the genesis of criminal law norms on responsibility for crimes against women also made it possible to trace changes in the law concerning such objects of criminal law protection as life, health, gender freedom and gender integrity, honor, and dignity of a woman, the interests of the family and its members.
