It enables operators to monitor the network operating status in real time so as to take corresponding actions promptly and effectively while the network can be properly protected and supply can be restored automatically when fault incidents happen. PMU system can also provide the dedicated information to enhance the system protection scheme, supply reliability and asset utilisation so that the operators can operate the network smartly.
