The meta-analyses of controlled studies found significant effects of psychodynamic interventions compared to control conditions on parental reflective functioning, maternal depression, infant behavior, and infant attachment. No significant differences between psychodynamic and control interventions were found for parental stress, and parent-infant interactions.
