To assess the performance of this rule in terms of traffic flow, safety and posted speed limit, we build a dynamic model for mixed traffic flow. In order to analyze easily and clearly, the road is divided into three kinds of road sections. By solving the dynamic model, we find that this rule can promote the traffic flow in light traffic.
