Psoriasis is a common inflammatory skin disease with an incompletely understood etiology. The disease is characterized by red, scaly and well-demarcated skin lesions. It is an immune – mediated chronic inflammatory skin disease affecting approximately 2-3% of worldwide population. Psoriasis has a negative impact on the patient’s health and quality of life and affects the quality of family members. Skin and joints affecting around 0.5-1% of children and 2-3% of adults.
