A field experiment was conducted to assess the effect of the application of EDTA on black gram crop. The aim of this study was to identify the interaction of Na, Ca, Mg, Fe, Cu and Zn when the black gram was planted on the test soil and to evaluate the effect of Ca EDTA and Fe EDTA of these metals. It was found from the study that by applying increased the organic carbon, organic matter, micronutrient i.e. Fe, Ca and Zn in the soil. Further it was noticed that TBS, MRP increases the N, P and K content in soil.
