The two- and four-wave interaction in the crystals doped with Co;Cr;Ni was studied to determine the efficiency of their application in the storage of optical information and in phase conjugation of laser radiation. It was established that, of SBN crystals doped with Co;Cr;Ni, SBN:Co only is characterized by a strong dichroism in linear and photoinduced absorption.
