Oral lichenoid lesions (OLL) are clinically and histologically similar to OLP. OLL has also been described as an oral lichenoid reaction or lichenoid contact stomatitis. The etiology of OLL is considered to be an exogenous factor such as oral hygiene products, food, medications or dental material. It is not a simple task to distinguish between the OLP and OLL. Here we report a case of OLL with malignant transformation that occurred two times. Diagnostic criteria to distinguish these two entities will be discussed as well. ©2019 The Authors.
