Fractures of Talus are relatively uncommon and can be associated with significant complications. Because it articulates with important joints i.e.,ankle, subtalar, and talonavicular, it is one of the most important bones to stabilize and mobilize soon after a foot injury. Talar fractures are usually associated with hyperdorsiflexion of the ankle as the talar neck impacts the anterior margin of the tibia, such as in a motor vehicle accident or fall from height.
