This paper presents a modality for managing waste that has been less considered, i.e. polystyrene waste used in packaging for the protection of various products during transportation. The study establishes the maximum proportion of replaced sand in the aggregate used, a proportion allowing to maintain the technical characteristics of acceptable plastering mortar. This is demonstrated by the results of physico-mechanical determinations performed in test samples.
