It could bring enormous suffering to the patients on account of the tendentiousness of being invasive macroadenoma and oppressing surrounding tissue. At present, the pathogenesis of NFPA is still unclear, thus there is no effective medical management for the disease. Although transsphenoidal surgery is the first-line treatment for NFPA, it is very difficult to achieve a cure effect. It has been found that the abnormal expression of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) affects the survival and progression of cancer. Recent studies have detected the expression of COX-2 in pituitary tumors, and the expression of COX-2 in NFPA is stronger, suggesting that COX-2 may be involved in the occurrence and development of NFPA. 摘要

无功能垂体腺瘤(NFPA)是一种常见的垂体腺瘤,缺乏激素过表达的临床和生化特征。由于大腺瘤具有侵袭性和压迫周围组织的倾向,给患者带来极大的痛苦。目前,NFPA的发病机制尚不清楚,因此尚无有效的医学治疗方法。虽然经蝶窦手术是NFPA的一线治疗方法,但很难达到治愈效果。研究发现环氧化酶-2 (COX-2)的异常表达影响肿瘤的生存和进展。近期研究检测到COX-2在垂体肿瘤中的表达,且COX-2在NFPA中的表达更强,提示COX-2可能参与了NFPA的发生发展。本文就NFPA的发病机制及COX-2的致瘤性进行综述,为NFPA的临床药物治疗提供新的思路。关键词:环加氧酶2;无功能垂体腺瘤;垂体肿瘤;审查
