To achieve the 2050 carbon neutrality goal, it is necessary to convert energy from fossil fuels to eco-friendly energy sources. As the energy conversion progresses, however, conflicts and confront-ations in the energy sector, such as stranded assetization of coal power generation, imbalances between energy sources and between regions, and loss of jobs, will be accentuated. As a result, just transition is emerging as a key topic of energy transition. We should therefore try to examine and resolve the imbalance between industries and regions that inevitably occur in the energy transition process from the perspective of energy justice. In the process of seeking such a solution, a just transition can be made, in which all members of society agree.
