The result of the research, found 4 function from 10 theory of joshi “no” function. 摘要本研究旨在了解史泰格小说《Nezumi to Kujira》中Joshi“no”的作用。本研究采用描述性分析的定性研究方法。数据研究使用了Joshi“no”这句话，对William Steig的故事Nezumi To Kujira，数据的发现是40句话。研究的结果，从10个理论中发现了4个函数约什“无”函数。将两个名词组合在一起有31个数据，将句子的两部分组合在一起有3个数据，举例子或比喻1个数据，陈述对象或占有有5个数据。关键词:函数;约什号
