These properties were investigated according to the current pharmacopoeia guidelines in the current study. Physicochemical properties, phytochemical analysis, fluorescence study and HPTLC fingerprint were evaluated to establish reliable supporting data. Phytochemical screening indicated the existence of various phytochemicals like polyphenols, flavonoids, tannins, total polysaccharides and the HPTLC fingerprint developed for the separation of phytochemicals was reported.
