The exergy analysis is a powerful tool for the design, analysis and classification of thermal systems. Using exergy for resource classification benefits their comparison, according to their ability to do work. Specific exergy index (SExI) was calculated to show for classification and capability of some geothermal area. Actual system data are used to assess the district heating system and power plant performance, energy and exergy efficiencies.
