Bread wheat cultivars Tahirova 2000, Yildirim, Alpu 2001, Canik 2003 and Basri Bey 95 were resistant to three stem rust races. Durum wheat cultivars Sari Canak 98 and Firat 93 were resistant to stem rust race TTTTF. Durum wheat cultivars Eminbey, Altintas 95, Zuhre ve Sari Canak 98 were resistant to stem rust race RTTTC and durum wheat cultivars Eminbey, Altintas 95, Imren, Yelken 2000 ve Zuhre exhibited resistant reaction to stem rust race RTTTF.
