描述和说明了无毒库蠓(Culicoides innoxius Sen & Das Gupta)的幼虫期和蛹期以及C. huffi Causey的蛹期。所有标本均采集于西孟加拉邦恒河下游平原。在腐烂的香蕉茎中采集了毒蛾幼虫，在与水稻农业生态系统相关的灌溉渠中采集了赫菲蛾单蛹。本文提供了从印度报道的该属种的图示蛹键。
