A Contribution to the Knowledge of Immature Stages of Endomychidae (Coleoptera: Coccinelloidea) – Description of Larva of Trochoideus dalmani Westwood
Abstract. The mature larva of Trochoideus dalmani Westwood (Endomychidae: Pleganophorinae) is described and illustrated for the first time. Based on its characters and those of T. desjardinsi Guérin-Méneville, a preliminary diagnosis for the genus is provided. Larval morphology and phylogenetic relationships of Pleganophorinae with other Endomychidae are compared and summarized.
