Hypoplastic Vertebral Artery as a predisposing cause for dissection

Dissection in a hypoplastic vertebral artery is extremely rare and has never been described previously in adults. We report a case of a 28 year old male who developed stroke following dissection in a hypoplastic left vertebral artery.
