Rolle und Aufgaben der Schulleitung bei der Qualitatssicherung und -Entwicklung von Schulen (Roles and Tasks of Principals in the Maintenance and Development of the Quality of Schools).

Der vorliegende Beitrag geht davon aus, das sich die im Titel enthaltene Frage nach Rolle und Aufgaben der Schulleitung bei der Qualitatssicherung und -entwicklung von Schulen wissenschaftlich nur mit Blick auf zwei Diskurse bearbeiten last: den Schulqualitats- und den Schulautonomiediskurs. Auf der Basis der internationalen Schulqualitats- und Schulentwicklungsforschung werden mit "instructional leadership- role" und "transformational leadership-role" zwei zentrale Konzepte von Schulleitung dargestellt und diskutiert, die die gestellte Frage zu beantworten erlauben und im Ubergang von dem einen Konzept zum anderen einen Wandel in der Vorstellung von Rolle und Aufgaben der Schulleitung erkennen lassen. The author assumes that the question posed in the title regarding the role and the tasks of principals in the maintenance and development of the quality schools can only be approached scientifically if two different discourses are taken into account, namely the discourse on the quality of schools and that on the autonomy of schools. On the basis of pertinent international research, two central concepts of principalship are sketched and discussed, i.e. the "instructional leadership role" and the "transformational leadership role". These seem to both provide an answer to the initial question and reveal a change m the conception of the role and the tasks to be fulfilled by principals. (DIPF/Orig.)
