Lectotypes are designated for E. koziorowiczi Croissandeau, 1893, E. skalitzkyi Croissandeau, 1893, and E. suramensis Reitter, 1882. The occurrence of E. motschulskii (Motschulsky, 1837) is confirmed; that of E. similis (Weise, 1875) is excluded. Two species are new for the French fauna: E. toscanus Franz, 1966, and E. carinthiacus Ganglbauer, 1896. With E. denticornis (P. W. J.
